Colors are everywhere. God made an entire world out of them. White, black, red (particularly crimson), blue, and purple take center stage throughout the sacred pages of the Holy Bible, whereas hues of green, yellow, orange, and gray only appear in passing.
As Christians, we need to understand that colors are used both literally and symbolically by Bible authors at various times.
So what is Jesus’ favorite color? Perhaps it’s the gleaming white color of the robes He used to clean off his blood, or perhaps it is the color purple that indicates royalty (He is the King of Kings), or perhaps gold is Jesus’ favorite color, as seen in the golden halo on top of His head. What do we know of this in the Bible?

Does Jesus Have A Favorite Color?
Although Jesus was fully divine, he was also fully human[1]. Hence, it is not a far-fetched idea to believe that He too had a favorite color.
The Bible does not reveal the favorite color of Jesus when He was alive, but perhaps He would have loved the reds and oranges of sunsets, the magnificent color blue of the oceans, the yellow rows of wheat awaiting harvest, the green of forest plants, the vibrant purple of certain butterflies, and the white of the moon at night seen on this blue planet.
As written in Matthew 6:28–29, “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” Indeed, the earth’s surface reflects God’s glory.
Does The Bible Have An Answer For Us?
The Bible does not reveal exactly what Jesus’ favorite color is. It may be possible that He doesn’t have a preferred color. God’s favorite color is the rainbow in its entirety. As described in Revelation 21:19–21, God delights in a rainbow of colors, as evidenced by the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem.
However, it seems that the color white has the closest association with Jesus. White light can create a spectrum of colors. When white light hits and then exits a water droplet, every single wavelength of light bends in different directions. Due to this, a stunning rainbow made up of all the hues is visible to us.
On top of that, in the Holy Scriptures, Jesus prophetically arrives as a victorious king wearing white clothes and mounted on a white horse (see Revelation 19:11). During Jesus’ baptism, we witness the Holy Spirit, portrayed by a white dove, descending on Him.
What Is Jesus’ Favorite Color?
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone, and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like an emerald.

Although the Holy Scriptures do not identify Jesus’ favored color, white is most probably his favorite one. Several times throughout both the Book of Revelation and the Gospels, his association with the color white is mentioned. Many things connected to Jesus are also shown in white.
Jesus Sits On A White Throne
John indicates in Revelation 20:11, “Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, and from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.” Through God’s light, the throne’s whiteness represents the victory and holiness of Christ.
White Is The Color Of Jesus’ Horse
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse! The one seated on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, he judges and makes war,” John affirms in Revelation 19:11. The horse’s whiteness does not suggest that the creature is particularly pure but rather indicates that its rider, Christ, is.
People Who Follow Jesus Wear White Clothing
“Yet you have a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white because they are worthy,” John indicates in Revelation 3:4. Soiled or non-white clothing represents depravity and sin in this verse. White or clean clothing, on the other hand, denotes purity.

John states in Revelation 6:11, “Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer until the number of their fellow servants and brothers was complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.” White garments signify triumph, sanctity, and purity.
Heaven’s Armies Dress White
In Revelation 19:14, John says, “And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.” These heavenly angels and their steeds are portrayed in white since they belong to Jesus.
People In The Kingdom Of God Are Depicted Wearing White
“After this, I looked and beheld a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,” John expressed in Revelation 7:9. The different groups of believers are triumphant, pure, and lovely.

We are surrounded by an infinite variety of hues, but how frequently do we take the time to observe all the small differences between the many shades?
We must be aware that a specific color has a distinct characteristic, certain spiritual power, and individual symbolic meaning that vary depending on religion, geographic location, culture, and tradition.
God created color, which is among the most beautiful characteristics of this physical world, yet it is also one of the things that is least appreciated. Some may even bring good energy, a great mood, and positive feelings into our lives.
Additionally, these colors may convey both information (as in aura hues) and energy (as in healing) spiritually. The aura is a spiritual energy cloud that surrounds living things and is “perceptible” to people who are psychically sensitive.

As seen throughout the Bible, the color white carries a frequent association with Jesus Christ and his divine nature. While the Scriptures don’t provide explicit details about Jesus’ personal color preferences, we can envision that, like many of us, he was undoubtedly enchanted by the diverse and captivating spectrum of Earth’s colors.
From the radiant orange hues of sunrise to the lush green of forest foliage, the serene blue sky, and the pristine white glow of the moon in the nocturnal sky, these natural wonders likely stirred his appreciation, as they do in us.
